Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa To Reopen From 1st August

Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa has planned its reopening on 1st of August 2020 with several new measures to ensure that the paradise island is safe for families and couples alike to return to and experience the luxury of travel again.

The Resort effortlessly offers to all guests, space comfort and privacy, while emulating both the freedom and elegance of the natural surroundings. Emerald Maldives is set on 20-hectares of serene private island land, enveloped by 100 hectares of coral reef in walking distance of the 1.7 km unspoiled beach and close to the house manta rays point. Boasting 120 villas, of which 60 on the beach and 60 overwater, each villa offers a private outdoor deck with direct access to the Indian ocean, a lounge area and private pools. The endless azure blue sea, golden sand and green outdoor space ensures guests will truly feel like they’re on their own paradise island.

Following both the health and hygiene standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Maldivian Government, all guests will have their temperature checked on arrival and departure, luggage surfaces will be disinfected, and staff of Emerald Maldives will be tested for COVID-19 every 10 days as well as wear face masks at all times. Guests will be provided with a hygiene kit in every villa including their own face masks, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and disposable gloves – these will also be readily available in public areas. There will be a mobile sterilization UV light disinfectant and electrostatic sprayer with grade disinfectants used to clean villas between check-ins as well as all public areas and supplies. A medical doctor and new dedicated hygiene manager will be on property and on hand to ensure the new procedures are monitored on a daily basis and that guests and staff are safe and comfortable.

In addition, Emerald Maldives is paying extra attention to all surfaces and resort’s public areas including the Emerald spa, gym and sports centre, the dedicated Dolphin Kids Club, the Beach Club, Diving Centre and Water Sports Centre.

Operating on a deluxe all-inclusive basis, Emerald Maldives is home to four open-air atmospheric concept restaurants covering international cuisine from every continent and seating has been rearranged to ensure social distancing is effortless. For those that would rather relax in the privacy of their villa, in-room dining is available from resort butlers who will ensure guests are receiving the highest quality and safety service.

At Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, the natural elegance experience begins with the freedom and serenity that sweeps in with the tides.

“From stunning island wide spaces to breathtaking views and excellent services, we are delighted to meet and exceed expectations at all times and to welcome our beloved guests back with open arms,” a statement by the resort read.
