Faarufushi Maldives operated by Universal Resorts opened

Faarufushi, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World operated by Universal Resorts has opened in the first week of March. The Island is situated in Nothern Raa Atoll and 50-minutes away from Velana International Airport by Seaplane.

Alongside the grand opening, they have introduced Promotional Packages starting from 5th March to the end of October. Furthermore, there will be a discount of 40% until the end of April, continued by a discount of 30% until the end of October.

This private island resort has 80 contemporary villas situated on both the beach and over the lagoon. 10 Beach Bungalows and 27 Beach Retreats with Pool. In addition, there are 39 sleek Ocean Retreats with Pool stilted over the azure lagoon of Faarufushi. The three Ocean Suite with Pool and the Island Residence with Pool offer the ultimate sanctuary with an infinity pool overlooking at its very own stretch of the Indian Ocean.

An all-day dining restaurant Iru, located next to the Sangu Bar has an overlooking view of the infinity pool presenting unlimited views of the sea. The crescent-shaped overwater signature restaurant, Eclipse offers an immersive gourmet experience and a non-obstructed panoramic view. At the reef’s edge is Boli, with seating open to the sky, offering a guaranteed sunset view throughout the year, complemented with the finest wines, carefully crafted cocktails and music.
