Westin Hotels & Resorts has appointed Hassan Shamaam as the new Assistant Director of Human Resources at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
Hassan has a strong track record in human resources with 9 years of experience across several worldwide 5* hospitality brands in remote islands, with a particular focus in talent management, organizational effectiveness and employee relations.
Most recently, Hassan served as the Human Resources Manager at JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa. He has previously held key positions with major leading premium brands such as Anantara Hotels Maldives, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and LUX* Resorts & Hotels.
Moreover, he is a graduate in Hospitality and Tourism, specialized in Human Resources Management from the University of Toulouse, France.
