CleanStay@Villa

On a bid to ensure health and safety for guests, all resorts under Villa Hotels and Resorts has implemented the CleanStay@Villa initiative.

CleanStay@Villa initiative is built on the Villa Hotels and Resort’s existing high standards and under the guidance of their in-house doctors. The initiative follows the WHO and Maldives Health Protection Agency (HPA) guidelines. This initiative undergoes regular reviews based on evolving industry standards and feedback from the group’s travel partners and guests.

The CleanStay@Villa initiative implements SOPs for end-to-end hygiene checks from arrival, transfer to departure. It includes, but not limited to, SOPs in the following:

  • Disinfect all exposed surfaces on lounges and transport facilities for arrival and departure.
  • Check and log temperature for all guests and staff on arrival and departing.
  • Identify high touch areas in guest villas and modify cleaning protocols to ensure that such areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Implement new staff hygiene standards, with mandated PPE measures.
  • Apply stringent disinfecting measures for F&B, Spa, sports, and recreation facilities.
  • Recommend social distancing between guests and staff
  • Implement continuous staff training in hygiene and cleanliness standards and protocols
  • Ensure resorts’ medical clinics are housed with doctors and required facilities
  • Use hospital-grade disinfectants in cleaning protocols
  • In case of need, provide isolation rooms at each resort

Flexible Cancellation Policy

Villa Hotels and Resorts cancellation policy offers a promise of flexibility.

  1. For existing bookings confirmed to arrive at the resort(s) before 31st October 2020, the resorts will allow amendments, without charges for stay-periods before (ending on) 23 December 2020 OR same period of next year, at the same rates as the original booking.
  2. For existing bookings, If clients are unable to travel for a stay-period before 23 December 2020 OR same period of next year, they will allow cancellation without charges.
  3. For all new bookings made by 31 October 2020, they will allow Free cancellation until 3 days to arrive, if the booking is for a stay-period from now until 31 October 2021 (excluding 24 December 2020 to 7 January 2021).
