In October 2018, Kandima Maldives hosted Taylah Cannon, the newly crowned winner of the Miss World Australia 2018 pageant and the Top 4 finalists on its tropical playground for a series of professional photography and video shoots.
Taylah Cannon, a makeup artist, and a veterinary nurse will next participate in the International Miss World pageant in China in December. The 23-year old comes from Queensland and will bring the next-year event to the Gold Coast in 2019. Taylah also became the official ambassador of Kandima Maldives for one year during her reign in 2018 and 2019.
Miss World Australia is a registered fundraising organization – raising money for charities and mirroring the role and spirit of Miss World at a national level. The finalists’ Kandima experience was documented by Australia’s Channel 10 and a well-known TV presenter and reporter, Scott Tweedie. The girls’ interviews will air live on the morning TV show this month.
