Condé Nast Traveler unveiled the winners of its 31st annual Readers’ Choice Awards, ranking the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, airports, and cruise lines in the world.
The Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry. This year, we received a recording-breaking number of responses from nearly half a million readers who rated their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today.
The Maldives was ranked as the best island in the World under the category of “Top 5 in the rest of the World” and the runner-up for the Best Island in the world. The Readers’ Choice Awards 2018 for the Top Resorts in The Indian Ocean was also all Maldivian resorts.
