As part of our efforts to promote fitness, we have commenced a program to appoint a trained sports counselor for each island. The main responsibility of this counselor is to conduct fitness programs for the citizens of the island. Additionally, with the assistance of the Indian Government, we have started the process of installing outdoor gyms in 61 islands. Our aim is to install an outdoor gym in every island within the next two years, strengthening our efforts to build a healthier nation. We are grateful to Mr. Shetty for readily agreeing to support our vision and look forward to welcoming him to the Maldives very soon. Mr. Shetty’s participation will be a huge boost to make Mission Fit Maldives a success.”
