Maldives welcomes cruise ship Ms Boudicca

Cruise ship Ms Boudicca has anchored at the Maldives today morning 0700hrs with 602 passengers and 376 crew members. It will depart in the evening at 1800hrs.

MV Boudicca is a cruise ship owned and operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. She was built in 1973 by Wärtsilä Helsinki Shipyard, Finland as Royal Viking Sky for Nordenfjeldske Dampskibsselskap, Trondheim, which placed the ship in Royal Viking Line service.

Named after the British warrior Queen, Boudicca has built up a loyal following of guests who appreciate a sense of class and timeless elegance not seen or experienced on modern ‘megaships’. Onboard, in keeping with the Fred. Olsen fleet, the emphasis is on providing an intimate and more traditional cruise experience, ensuring guests disembark after their relaxing and rewarding holiday as friends, not just customers.

Up to 880 guests can cruise aboard Boudicca, which, thanks to an extensive refurbishment of the ship’s suites, bedrooms, restaurants, lounges, and facilities, will continue to show the passengers the world in comfort and style for many years to come. While exploring the globe on the ship, passengers can indulge with delicious dinners in the Four Seasons, Tintagel or the Heligan Room restaurants; take a dip in one of the three heated pools; watch a show in the Neptune Lounge; simply relax on the Sun Deck; enjoy al fresco dining at The Grill; and much more, without ever feeling overcrowded.
