Manta Air to start seaplane operations in September

Manta Air has announced that the airline plans to start seaplane operations in this September.

The airline states that they are currently working on the final preparations and that they are waiting for the aviation permits from the Ministry.

They further stated that despite some delays the airline has been facing, they are confident that the operations will begin in the coming month.

To start off the operations, Manta Air plans on bringing four seaplanes from Canada and they expect to have overall ten seaplanes in their hold by the end of the year.

The domestic airline operator, Manta Air officially began domestic flight operations in early February this year. Currently, the airline operates direct flights to B. Dharavandhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo and to VIA.
