From 22 December 2026 to 6 January 2027, Meyyafushi Maldives transforms into an island-wide celebration, with each day offering a new way to experience the festive spirit. Mornings might begin with snorkelling along the vibrant reef, a restorative yoga session or a friendly game of padel above the lagoon, before giving way to culinary workshops, traditional palm-leaf artistry and relaxed island activities. As the sun begins to set, guests come together for elegant wind downs by the water, where warm light, ocean views and laid-back island ambience set the tone for the evening ahead. 

Evenings at Meyyafushi are equally eventful, where guests can indulge in a diverse collection of incredible dining experiences such as the Christmas and New Year’s Gala Dinners, wine tastings, lobster dinners, exclusive wine pairing dinners, live music, cultural performances and festive entertainment across the island. The boho-inspired styling will come to life through natural textures, warm earthy tones and relaxed sunset acoustic sets, creating an effortlessly elegant atmosphere that feels both intimate and celebratory. 

Families and younger travellers can enjoy festive scavenger hunts, Christmas tree decorating, children’s art workshops, cookie decorating and New Year wish activities – ensuring guests of all ages enjoy every moment of the season. New Year’s Eve will present a countdown fiesta featuring live entertainment, music, dancing and fireworks beneath the stars, welcoming the first moments of 2027 in a truly magical way.
