ROBINSON NOONU Celebrates Music and Island Entertainment with This is NOONU Special Week

ROBINSON NOONU recently hosted its highly anticipated This is NOONU Special Week, bringing together international DJs, live musicians, themed celebrations and exclusive island experiences for seven days of entertainment in the Maldives. The event transformed the resort into a vibrant festival destination, offering guests a diverse programme of performances, beachside gatherings and immersive experiences.

The celebrations began with the resort’s signature ROAR Show & Party on the pool deck, featuring energetic performances, vibrant costumes and music that set the tone for the week. Throughout the event, guests enjoyed performances by an international line-up of artists, combining festival-inspired entertainment with the resort’s tropical island setting.

Among the featured performers was DJ Yasmin Blust, who brought her signature festival sound to the resort, alongside DJ Tobi Dean, founder and CEO of Germany’s Open Beatz Festival. Their performances introduced a lively atmosphere across the island’s evening celebrations, while live saxophonist SaxoBen complemented sunset gatherings and special events with his distinctive musical performances.

The entertainment programme also featured the Habama Brothers, whose energetic percussion performances became a highlight of several celebrations. Emi and Band added a more relaxed musical element to the week, performing during sunset sessions, evening gatherings and other special occasions.

Beyond the live music, This is NOONU Special Week introduced a series of themed events designed to offer guests different experiences throughout their stay. These included Boho Night, the Suite Party, Jungle Party and the Underwater Pool Party, each bringing its own atmosphere and entertainment concept to the resort.

One of the standout experiences was the Secret Island Party, which combined watersports, a beach barbecue and live entertainment in an exclusive island setting. An elegant White Party at a secret location further added to the programme, offering guests another distinctive evening experience.

The week concluded with the premiere of The Heart of NOONU, a new in-house production presented during the final ROBcarpet evening. Developed by the resort’s show cast following weeks of rehearsals, the production brought together choreography, music and theatrical performances to celebrate the island, its people and the experiences that define ROBINSON NOONU.

The premiere received an enthusiastic response from guests, marking a memorable conclusion to the seven-day celebration. Through its combination of international entertainment, original productions and interactive guest experiences, This is NOONU Special Week highlighted the resort’s focus on bringing music, social experiences and island hospitality together.
