SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton Unveils Underwater Festive Programme for 2026–2027

SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, has unveiled its Underwater Festive programme, running from 20 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, featuring a line-up of festive dining experiences, family activities, wellness offerings and celebrations to welcome the New Year.

Inspired by the beauty of the underwater world, the programme invites guests to enjoy the festive season through shared experiences, island traditions and adventures beneath the waves. General Manager Alexander Traeger welcomed guests to a season centred on connection, wonder and purposeful travel.

Festive celebrations begin with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on 20 December, accompanied by carols, canapés and sunset drinks at Sunset Beach. Guests can also enjoy a series of themed dinner buffets throughout the season, featuring Asian, Italian, Arabian and Maldivian cuisine, alongside seafood grills and international dining experiences. Live entertainment by V’Nez Band will accompany several beachfront dinners, while traditional Bodu Beru drumming and dance will feature during the Badhige Dinner Buffet.

Christmas Eve celebrations on 24 December will include a cocktail party, the Mermaid Christmas Eve Gala Dinner and a beach party featuring DJ Riyenzie. On Christmas Day, guests can enjoy a multicultural beachfront lunch, a children’s Christmas party with Santa and the Mermaid Christmas Dinner Buffet. The New Year celebrations on 31 December will feature a cocktail party, the Sea King New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and a countdown party with DJ Riyenzie, handcrafted cocktails and festive music.

The programme also offers a range of activities for families and children. These include treasure quests, costume carnivals, gingerbread house decorating competitions, talent shows, mini discos and festive games. Guests can take part in beach volleyball, water polo, padel tennis tournaments, cocktail-making competitions and the SAiiSational Amazing Race. Tie-dye workshops and the SAiiSational Mini Olympic Games will also provide opportunities for guests to participate in creative activities and friendly competition.

Underwater experiences will form part of the festive programme, with Year-End Snorkelling on 31 December and First Snorkelling of 2027 on 1 January. Both experiences invite guests to explore the resort’s house reef, with its coral gardens and tropical marine life. A tree-planting activity on 2 January will also give guests the opportunity to support the island environment.

Wellness experiences will be available throughout the festive period, including special spa journeys for couples from 22 December 2026 to 8 January 2027. The offerings include full-body massages, body treatments, facials and romantic milk baths, complemented by Champagne and healthy bites. Guests can also join Kick Box Fit sessions by the oceanfront. For those seeking a quieter dining experience, the Digital Detox Lunch at the Organic Garden (Badhige) offers a farm-to-table meal featuring locally sourced island flavours.

The festive programme concludes on 9 January with tie-dye workshops, the SAiiSational Mini Olympic Games, Kick Box Fit, a Kids Festive Carnival and an international dinner buffet accompanied by live music. Guests can also take part in the SAii Amazing Culinary Journey, a progressive dining experience across the resort’s signature venues, beginning with cocktails at Padel Court, followed by a starter at SunRay, a main course at Miss Olive Oyl and dessert at the Pool Bar.
