Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa Appoints Aminath Nadheema as Executive Housekeeper

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa announces the appointment of Aminath Nadheema as its new Executive Housekeeper. Bringing more than two decades of hospitality experience and a remarkable journey of  passion, perseverance, and leadership, Nadheema joins the resort to lead the Housekeeping  department and further elevate the guest experience through operational excellence and  heartfelt service. 

A respected hospitality professional with an inspiring career spanning some of the Maldives’  most renowned luxury resorts and international destinations, Nadheema’s appointment marks  a meaningful homecoming within the Marriott family. Having started her journey in 2006 at W  Maldives, she returns to Marriott International with a wealth of expertise gained through  leadership roles at Six Senses Laamu, VARU by Atmosphere, Anantara Dhigu & Anantara  Veli, Niyama Private Islands Maldives, and The Westin Doha. 

Nadheema’s hospitality story began in 2003 and has been defined by a commitment to  creating memorable guest experiences. While her early career focused on guest relations and  front-of-house operations, a career development program within Starwood introduced her to  the world of housekeeping, an experience that ignited a passion that would shape her future. 

Driven by a desire to continuously learn and grow, she pursued Housekeeping Management  studies at Hotelschool The Hague before progressing into leadership roles within the  discipline. Her dedication and expertise led to her promotion as Executive Housekeeper at Niyama Private Islands Maldives, where she became recognised as one of the first female  Maldivian Executive Housekeepers in the country’s tourism industry. In recognition of her  achievements and contribution to hospitality, she was honored with the Gold Award in Hotel  and Hospitality Management at the Professional and Career Woman Awards Maldives in  2021. 

Throughout her career, Nadheema has successfully led multicultural teams, managed pre opening projects, navigated high-occupancy operations, and championed service excellence  across luxury resorts. Her leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, empowerment,  accountability, and fostering a positive workplace culture where team members can thrive.
