Maldives’ former President and current Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed and Tourism Minister Ali Waheed will participate in Commonwealth webinar on tourism.
Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council’s tourism webinar will be held today (Tuesday, May 19, 2020) at 5:20 PM – 7:00 PM Maldives time. They will speak on the topic: Commonwealth Tourism During COVID-19 Lockdown: Immediate Responses and Future Opportunities.
In this session, the speakers will examine the future strategies available to the tourism and travel industry, including possible substitutes such as domestic travel for larger markets and the leveraging of the Commonwealth network for international coordination in support of the revival of the industry and future growth.
