GHM‘s debut property in Maldives, The Chedi Kudavillingili, Maldives has welcomed Urmila Shrestha as its Learning and Development Manager.
Urmila is a dynamic MBA professional with more than 16 years of result oriented work experience in different industries including hospitality, education, auditing, learning and development, human resources, and recruitment.
She is a natural relationship builder who motivates team to embrace changes in work place environment. She is skilled in learning and development, human resources management, payroll, recruitment, ISO auditing, and customer service. Urmila is a strong HR professional with Master of Business Administration focused in Accountancy, Finance, HRM and Business Studies.
Prior to her move to The Chedi Kudavillingili, Maldives, she most recently worked as the assistant learning and development manager at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara Hotels in Qatar.
The Chedi on Maldives is located on the pristine island of Kudavillingili, a quick 30-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. This mixed-use resort development is said to feature 36 overwater villas and a 150m-long central pool. The resort is set to launch in Q4 2020.
