The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort Appoints New Hotel Manager

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is pleased to welcome a new hotel manager to lead its operations. No stranger to life by the beach, Dominic Scoles has moved from the Turks and Caicos for his new role at the luxury private island resort. In 2013, he overlooked pool and bar operations of The St Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Miami as well.

Dominic Scoles, hotel manager at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, said: “I am honored to be a part of the St. Regis family once again. I have been privileged to be a part of the larger Marriott group for several years and am truly excited to overlook the operations of this luxurious property and its many unique offerings.”

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, which opened in November 2016, is nestled on a private island in a Dhaalu Atoll. This resort has won the World Travel Awards for “Maldives Leading Luxury Island Resort 2017” and “Indian Ocean’s Leading Luxury Resort 2017”.

A seasoned hospitality professional, Dominic brings more than 10 years of experience to The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort. As the hotel manager, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the resort, its staff and will also overlook financial management for the property. This includes planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.

Alexander Blair, general manager at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, said: “We are happy to have Dominic on board and are certain that his expertise in managing luxury resorts and top dining destinations will be an asset to the resort’s operations.”
