Turkish Airlines Resumes Passenger Flights to Maldives

Turkish Airlines is back to discover wonders of the world together! Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) resumed its passenger flights to Maldives on 24th July.

The airline will be operating special flights to Europe, South and North Asia on 24th and 31st July 2020.

Turkish Airline previously announced a set of guidelines for the travelers that will be followed during flight journey. The airline will be implementing new guidelines to assure safe and hygienic environment for their passengers.

According to the airline, passengers can do contactless check-in at the airline’s counters and kiosks in the airports. Only a small group of passengers will be allowed at the checkpoints and boarding procedure will be carried out without contact.

Moreover, all the aircrafts are disinfected according to the IATA health standards. Hygiene experts are assigned to all the Turkish airline’s aircrafts and temperature checks will be carried out by crews.

Onboard the flight, limited number of personal belongings will be allowed inside the cabin. The inflight amenities will be single-use only. Hygiene kit including mask and sanitizer will be provided to the passengers.

During the disembarkation process, appropriate physical distance will be maintained and cabin crew will guide the passengers.

Furthermore, the airline advice all its passengers to do online check-in, carry extra masks throughout the flight journey and maintaining 1.5 meters of physical distancing.
