VARU by Atmosphere welcomed its first guests on Thursday, 17th October.
VARU is the fifth resort under the Atmosphere brand. The resort is located on Varu Island of North Male’ Atoll. The other 4 resorts by the brand include Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, Ozen Maadhoo by Atmosphere, Atmosphere Oblu Select at Sangeli and Atmosphere Oblu Helengeli.
Nestled in the pristine Indian Oceans of the Maldives, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts presents its newest resort, VARU by Atmosphere. ‘Varu’ in Dhivehi, the local dialect refers to strength, resilience, and life in abundance which comes to life at the resort, with its perfect blend between the contemporary architecture and tropical vibes of the island paradise. Designed with a signature Maldivian touch the resort features 108 Villas & Suites spread across its pristine white beach and the turquoise lagoon.
The resort features 39 beach villas with spacious interiors and outdoor decks, surrounded by lush green vegetation and situated just a few meters from the white sandy beach, whilst 69 Overwater Villas have signature Maldivian-style interiors and offer direct access to the turquoise lagoon from the deck. Both villa types offer minimalistic design styles with splashes of vibrant colors and come with the option of private pools.
The VARU Plan™ is an all-inclusive package that lets guests dine, enjoy snacks, taste premium alcohol, indulge in unlimited cocktails and take part in complimentary water activities during their stay at VARU. Additional resort facilities include a dive and water sports center, an overwater ELENA spa, a gymnasium, and a kids club.
The resort is located on 40minutes away on a speedboat from Male International Airport to the North-west of the Maldives.
