With Over 50 Graduates Four Seasons Apprenticeship Program Concludes

Four Seasons Resorts Maldives has recently celebrated the successful completion of their latest apprenticeship program with over 50 graduates who raised their diploma ready to make their way into the hospitality industry. Moreover, 66 new first-year apprentices and 6 second-year apprentices inaugurated into the new class of 2020.

Aimed at 17-20-year-olds, the government-accredited Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Apprenticeship Programme equips enthusiastic Maldivian youngsters with the expertise required to excel in the industry. Whilst living, studying and working onsite, apprentices gain hands-on experience in their chosen discipline: Food & Beverage Preparation or Service, Safe Maritime Transport, Housekeeping & Guest Services, PADI Dive Master, Water Sports Attendant, Marine Biology, Engineering and Front Office.

“Since the very beginning, we have taken every step to ensure our presence in the Maldives is positive, from training and developing local talent to protecting and preserving the beautiful natural environment,” said Four Seasons Resorts Maldives’ Regional Vice President Armando Kraenzlin.

The Tourism Minister honorable Mr. Ali Waheed was the chief guest of this function held at Dharubaaruge, on Sunday. The deputy Youth Minister Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim also attended the graduation ceremony.
