The Halcyon Private Isles Maldives, Autograph Collection has unveiled its inaugural Masters of the Isles festive programme for the 2026–2027 season, bringing together chefs, healers, freedivers, artists and sporting talent for a celebration shaped by discovery, culinary artistry, wellness and island experiences. Set across the private isles, the programme brings together a series of curated encounters inspired by the spirit of exploration.

Running from December 2026 through January 2027, the festive season will feature a diverse line-up of experiences, from culinary collaborations and wellness journeys to artistic, sporting and family activities. Guests can look forward to encounters with masters of their craft, alongside daily dining and entertainment, island explorations and experiences designed for young voyagers.

Masters of the Isles

The festive programme will feature a line-up of guest talents, including Freediving Master Bastien Soleil, Dr Jubil P. Anil, local artist Ahmed Aleem, professional padel player Victoria Kurz, Hoppers co-founder Karan Gokani, National Geographic Explorer Thammika Songkaeo, Alesia Rakitianskaia, Chef Dmitry Eremeev and Jungle Kadé founder Ashwel Handy.

Bastien Soleil will lead freediving and underwater meditation experiences from 18 December to 8 January, combining breath, movement and stillness with an underwater photoshoot against the resort’s house reefs. Dr Jubil P. Anil will bring his fourth-generation Ayurvedic lineage to the island during the same period, offering Ayurvedic experiences rooted in more than 120 years of inherited knowledge.

Local artist Ahmed Aleem will present Tales Painted in Sunlight, bringing Maldivian folklore to life through a history and art exhibition, alongside a junior art workshop. Professional padel player Victoria Kurz will host daily padel clinics from 18 to 21 December, together with the Invisible Game Night and The Silent Session.

Culinary Journeys

From 18 to 28 December, Mumbai-born restaurateur Karan Gokani will join The Halcyon’s culinary team for a series of masterclasses and dining experiences inspired by the flavours of India and Sri Lanka. The programme includes masterclasses, exclusive dinners, a Christmas Dinner featuring The Hoppers London Counter and a light lunch. Alesia Rakitianskaia will take over Bell Bar from 30 December to 8 January, presenting an umami-driven style influenced by her journey from Russia to Thailand through experiences including Legendary Crossing, Flavours of Russia and Flavours of Thailand.

Chef Dmitry Eremeev of Mason Dallos, Moscow, will bring his culinary artistry to The Halcyon from 3 to 10 January, with cocktails and canapés, a four-hand dinner, an Orthodox Christmas live station and a wine pairing dinner. The festive culinary line-up will also include a Jungle Kadé takeover at Firepit Beach from 8 to 14 January, bringing Sri Lankan flavours, imaginative cocktails and food cooked over fire to the private isles.

A Symphony of Dining and Entertainment

Throughout the festive period, The Halcyon Private Isles Maldives, Autograph Collection will offer a daily programme of dining and entertainment, with sunset cocktails, live music, DJ performances, special dinners and themed evenings taking place across Bell Bar, Thari, Yuzu, Yapa Bar and Firepit Beach.

Christmas Eve will feature cocktails at Bell Bar, a saxophonist at Yuzu and a Christmas Eve Gala Night at Thari, while Christmas Day will begin with breakfast, DJ and live music, followed by Santa’s arrival at Thari. The celebrations will continue towards New Year, with the New Year’s Eve programme featuring an NY Cocktail Party, a New Year Celebration Dinner, live entertainment and a fireworks display at Firepit Beach welcoming 2027.

Experiences for Young Voyagers

The festive programme extends to younger guests through the Young Voyagers programme, centred around exploration, marine discovery, Maldivian culture, wellness and culinary experiences. Children will receive Bell’s Explorer Passport at check-in, collecting stamps through experiences across Marine, Wellness, Culinary, Nature, Culture and Ocean Protector activities. The Bell Treasure Trail will take young explorers through Bell Bar, the Traveller’s Garden, beach, Marine Centre, Kids Club and jetty, with clues inspired by H.C.P. Bell’s legacy.

Family experiences will include the Sunset Explorer Picnic, Family Explorer Olympics and Sand Architects, while the programme will also feature activities such as Mini Marine Biologist, Junior Stargazers, Castaway Challenge and Boduberu Rhythm Academy. Young guests can further explore Maldivian traditions through Coconut Masters and Dhivehi Discovery. Wellness and culinary activities will include Little Yogi at Sunrise, Ocean Sound Meditation, Wellness Potion Lab, Little Island Chef, Chocolate Coral Workshop and Junior Mixologist.

Island Experiences and Wellness

Beyond the festive programme, guests can explore the surrounding waters through whale shark encounters, nurse shark experiences, house reef discovery and big game fishing. The Halcyon also offers Huvadhoo expeditions and epicurean dining experiences across sand, firepits and floating platforms.

At The Halcyon Spa, the festive wellness programme draws on the four elements of earth, water, fire and air, alongside Ayurvedic journeys with Dr Jubil P. Anil. Guests can also take part in sunrise and sunset rituals, lifestyle workshops, functional fitness and yoga and meditation sessions held on sandbanks, uninhabited isles and aboard a dhoni.

The Masters of the Isles festive programme brings together culinary, cultural, wellness, sporting and family experiences across The Halcyon’s private isles, creating a season centred on discovery and the spirit of exploration.
